FAQ
When is the event?
Snip Happens will take place on Friday, March 27th at Dream Free Art. The event lasts about 1.5–2 hours, giving you plenty of time to create, laugh, and enjoy the experience.
Do we need art experience?
Not at all! This event is designed to be fun and playful, not serious art instruction. You’ll use construction paper, scissors, and glue to create a portrait of your partner, the more personality, the better.
Is this a structured class or more free-flowing?
You’ll receive clear guidance and rules for the challenge, but the artwork itself is open-ended and expressive.
What’s included in the ticket price?
Your $60 per couple ticket includes all materials needed to create your paper portraits, plus a frame for your finished masterpiece so you can take it home.
Do we both make a portrait?
Yes! Each partner will create a portrait of the other, which often leads to some hilarious and memorable results.
Is this event BYOB?
Yes. Feel free to bring your own drinks and light snacks.
What if we’re not a romantic couple?
No problem at all! Friends, siblings, or family members are absolutely welcome. The goal is simply to create together and have fun.
What should we wear?
Regular clothes are totally fine. This event is low-mess compared to splatter painting, but you’ll still be working with glue and craft materials.
